Ah, 1983 what a great year. There was uhh Nintendo going on sale in Japan and and uhh … oh wait a minute I wasn’t even alive in 1983. It really is a shame because had I been around I would have loved to do my white boy dance in some club to this classic babymaker from Oliver Cheatham. You know you’re doing something right when your song gets sampled 22 years later and turns into a #1 hit in the UK (“Make Luv” by Room 5). Bad Rabbits – Neverland
Boston’s Bad Rabbits are blowing up right now. They sound like they should have been on TMNT 2: The Secret of the Ooze’s soundtrack – in a good way. Their new-jack swing and punk inspired sound makes me feel like I should be doing some side-to-side dance in a sportcoat that’s way too big for me.
